(LOXLEY, AL) January 6, 2009 - The downward economic spiral is forcing Baldwin County school board officials to cut millions from the budget.
They will hold a meeting Tuesday night in Loxley.
The board has already discussed freezing locally funded step raises, overtime, travel and other expenses.
School officials say layoffs are a last option but may be necessary.
